Although trained as a painter, Greg Larson has spent considerable time doing photography which he uses to explore the relationship between nature and objects.  Distilled through his own internal geometry and combined with fleeting moments of happenstance, his pictures capture environments that are often void of people while still exhibiting the evidence of humanity. It is as though someone had just walked out, but upon leaving, left the light on and something burning. Often quirky and occasionally humorous, his photographs are compelling, meticulously crafted, and wholly inspired by an emotional encounter with a spit-second moment where light and place meld in an intimate encounter with the world.
